1960s 3hp Evinrude Foldable
I have a 1960s Evinrude 3 horsepower two-stroke. This has been an awesome motor and has never failed me. Starts up on the first or second pull every time and three or four pulls after being stored all winter. The motor was previously owned by a marine mechanic, and he has had it since new in the '60s and has kept very good maintenance and really took care of the motor over the past years. 1953 Mercury Mark 15 & 2-Line Presure Tank
I found this and bought it not knowing much about it ? because I thought it'd make a neat old retro repower for my 12 ft tinner. Apparently after some research because I didn't know much about a "Mark 15", never heard of one, I find it's fairly rare being a one-year only thing to find them unmolested/complete still with their 2-line pressure tanks ? So long story short I think I'll pass it along and offer it to somewhere where it can be better appreciated by someone more familiar who has both the knowledge/skillsets necessary to go through it ? It will run for a few seconds as I found out just squirting Gas down the Carb and pulling it over, albeit, not knowing any better I put 5-6 psi in the pressure tank and hooked it up only to dribble gas out the Carb throat/flooded no start. I'm guessing maybe Carb Kit/Float and as always a guy should do water pump impellor. I'm about 30 minutes outside of Cranbrook BC by highway, I can strap down securely on a Pallet with Tank drained and deliver it for truck transport, hence the $500 asking to cover time/crating/fuel expenses delivering to Truck Freight in Cranbrook BC. any questions gimme a cal 250 464 1026.
